I got myself a new tool

I went with Sasha to the dentist. He said her breath stinks because of a little bacteria build up... too bad for her :( . I will have to force her take her pills every day for a week now. She will still have that breath for a while, and she doens't really like to chew gum. Too bad for me. After a quick examination, it turned out that Sasha is a very healthy cat in rest! Yey !

I also showed the doctor this article about cat teeth, and he said that the information about cat breath and health is pretty accurate.

The doctor also said that her hair is very healthy indeed. Quite healthy, and quite stubborn when it comes to sticking everywhere.

Let's move on to what I've said I'll do, which is look for a vacuum cleaner. If you're also looking for one, you can click here to see the best options. They are specially designed for what we are looking for, which is getting pet hair out of stuff.

I had two options. As I said I was looking for a bigger one, because the other one isn't performing too well.

It was either get the full option one, the monster of all monsters, the brand of all brands, the Dyson Dc 41, or a cheaper one that I liked very much.

Considering I'm just beginning in life, and that I'm living solo, I'm sure you've guessed that I did not go with the $500 Dyson one, but went instead for one called Shark Navigator.

It's the Lift Away one, and it's not grey.



This vacuum is really nice, I can't wait for it to arrive. I will be posting about it very soon, but give me some time to use it a couple of times before I do.

So the Dyson had very many features that Shark also covered, but it was the warranty that made the difference. I've read about this thing, why Dyson has, and why Shark doesn't offer any. It's because of the price. $500 for 5 years of warranty is ok, because the expenses to fix the vacuum are anyway minor compared to the whole price. Shark goes way under half that price, and getting one for $200 is an easy job.


I know it has no warranty, and that it could break right after the 30 day return policy ends, but I'm not really into getting busy with calling for customer support and all that stuff. If it breaks, it breaks, I'll pay to fix it. I'll be careful not to rush that day, which will eventually come.

I also like the design of the Shark Navigator very much. It's white, and I have a lot of white things around. I don't even have to hide it, it would fit perfectly in my living room, being also a discussion item, because I'm sure people will be attracted by its design.

The other one also looks very nice, but it isn't that fashioned as the one I've purchased.

Both of them are bagless, very maneuverable, but the Shark has a lift away technology that intrigued me. You can turn the upright mode into a purse-like mode, holding the vacuum with one hand, and the hose with another. At under 10 pounds I won't have any problem lifting it up. It's gonna be great to clean sheets and walls, and also floors in the kitchen and bathroom, where the litter box is placed.

That's about it, I hope this vacuum is great at picking up hair, as that website said.

Today Sasha broke a flowerpot. I like that pot a lot, it was white with rainbow colored spots on it. I was lucky it was empty, because if any water was in there it could've affected the wires behind the desk. It took me about 15 minutes to get all the pieces back.

I'm thinking of doing some DIY thingy and stick the pot back to one piece, name it "Broken by cat flower pot" and sell it on eBay. People would buy anything these days.
